The rundown
Riot Fest and WMSE Present Prayers! Prayers is a Mexican-American electronic duo founded in 2013 by Rafael Reyes and Dave Parley. According to vocalist Rafael Reyes, the band’s name originated from a dream Dave Parley had. By combining the frosty abrasiveness of acts such as Christian Death and Skinny Puppy with the more accessible pop stylings of Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys, PRAYERS has created a unique and gripping sound that both contrasts and compliments his fierce and honest lyrics.Prayers
