SUMMARY:Goose
LOCATION:Miller High Life Theatre\, 500 West Kilbourn Avenue\, Milwaukee
DESCRIPTION:Goose is an American rock band known for its genre-blending sound\,\nimprovisational live shows\, and deeply dedicated fan base. The band — Rick\nMitarotonda (vocals\, guitar)\, Peter Anspach (vocals\, keys\, guitar)\, Trevor Weekz\n(bass)\, and Cotter Ellis (drums) — has risen from performing in Connecticut\nbasements to headlining some of the country’s most iconic venues. Blending\nindie-rock hooks with expansive improvisation\, Goose has built its following\norganically through relentless touring and a strong DIY ethos\, leveraging\nplatforms like YouTube\, Bandcamp\, and nugs.net [http://nugs.net] to connect\ndirectly with fans.\n\nThe band recently announced their sixth studio album\, BIG MODERN!\, arriving June\n12\, alongside lead single “Good2B\,” a sun-soaked\, high-energy introduction to\nthe record. The release follows a prolific 2025 that saw the arrival of two\nstudio albums\, including Everything Must Go and Chain Yer Dragon\, which\npropelled Goose to #2 on Billboard’s Top New Artist Albums chart and drew praise\nfrom Rolling Stone for its balance of studio precision and live energy.\nEverything Must Go’s singles “Give It Time” and “Your Direction” both charted\nsimultaneously at AAA radio\, making Goose the only band to achieve this\ndistinction.\n\nSince recording their 2016 debut Moon Cabin in a New Hampshire barn\, Goose has\nrefined a sound that bridges thoughtful songwriting\, tight musicianship\, and\nemotional honesty. With sold-out shows at venues like Radio City Music Hall\, Red\nRocks\, Forest Hills Stadium\, and Madison Square Garden\, along with appearances\non The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon\, Jimmy Kimmel Live!\, and major\nfestivals like Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits\, Goose continues to cement its\nreputation as one of the most compelling live bands of its generation
