The band\, whose sound has been described as “...a stagecoach in overdrive”\nand “dark\, psychedelic speedfolk”\, has performed their signature blend of\nstrings and horns across 49 states and 9 countries since 2007.\n\nCNS has built a solid grassroots following with their energetic live show and\nability to fit on bills ranging from bluegrass to punk\; rockabilly to ska. \nThoughtful songwriting is delivered through dynamic arrangements and\nunconventional instrumentation. Throaty vocals glide over percussive guitar.\nMandolin solos melt into blaring trombone lines at breakneck speed\, while the\nupright bass and rock-solid drums churn out aggressive rhythms that carry the\nforce of a Kansas freight train. Psychedelic soundscapes are punctuated by\ndownright amphetaminic tempos and controlled cacophony. Anything but derivitive\,\nCNS has developed a singular style that continues to bemuse newcomers and\ndelight loyal fans.\n\nDEAD DEAD SWANS\nBandcamp [https://deaddeadswans.bandcamp.com/] | Facebook\n[https://www.facebook.com/deaddeadswans] | Instagram\n[https://www.instagram.com/deaddeadswans/]\nMilwaukee Folk\n\nOLD WOLVES\nBandcamp [https://oldwolves.bandcamp.com/] | Facebook\n[https://www.facebook.com/OldWolves] | Instagram\n[https://www.instagram.com/oldwolveswi/]\nIndustrial / Folk / Doom from SE Wisconsin\n\nMEGAN JAY\nBandcamp [https://meganjay.bandcamp.com/] | Facebook\n[https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100093482044686] | Instagram\n[https://www.instagram.com/meganjayisokay]\nWisconsin-based Indie Folk singer-songwriter.
